Our Vertical Secondary Glazing sits discreetly on the inside of the window and is made to measure with the horizontal bar lining up perfectly with the bar of the outer window so it cannot be seen from the outside.

Features of our Vertical Sliding Sash Windows

All of our secondary units are handmade from extruded aluminium sections and comply with BS1474 1987.  The Vertical sliding panels are hung on adjustable spring balances and are held closed with Fitch catches. In order to improve the performance of each unit, all of the operating surfaces are sealed to minimise airflow with wool pile and extruded PVC on the sashes and EPDM pressure seal on the outer frame.
